LESA, in the province of Novara, is a small village overlooking the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore, a few kilometers from Stresa and the Borromean Gulf with its splendid Borromean Islands.
The charming town center offers many small shops and cafes, as well as a pleasant lakeside promenade, where you can enjoy a relaxing view of the lake and its
islands.
Lesa hosted the famous writer and poet Alessandro Manzoni for a long time at Villa Stampa, and there is a small museum dedicated to him inside the villa.

How to get to LESA
By car: About 1 hour from Milan via the A8 motorway, Castelletto Ticino exit, and then the SS33 Sempione road.
By train: From Milan Porta Garibaldi station, regional trains to Domodossola depart every 2 hours, travel time just over 1 hour.
By plane: Milan (any airport) and then transfer to Milan Centrale, take the subway to Porta Garibaldi, and then take the direct regional train to Lesa.
