WORKSHOP with DORIS KUEN (Italy/Switzerland)

Doris met folklore casually in milongas and marathons some years ago and fell in love hopelessly with this dances. She studied with amazing teachers in Europe and Argentina, danced every day at home during the lockdown  and later on enjoyed the peñas and big festivals in Argentina with thousands of folklore enthusiasts. Sharing the emotions and energy of folklore in classes and peñas is hopefully creating more and more bridges to this beautiful culture.

Looking forward to dance Chacarera and Zamba in this beautiful place in Noci!

TUESDAY 4 June

17-18.15 Chacarera lessson 1 : Basics

18.30-20 Chacarera lessson 2 : Different flavours and colors (rhythmical variants, more freedom in zapateo/zarandeo, different forms of connections)

WEDNESDAY 5 June

17-19.30 Zamba: Seminar for beginners and intermediates (basic structure, move the pañuelo, expression in the connection)

At 20.00 PEñA evening live music + dj SIVA ROTTERDAM (Netherland)
